There is so much for the kids to do, the breakfast is wonderful, the staff is kind and accommodating, and there are so many extra perks like shuttle services, live music, and crabbing for kids that other resorts in the area do not offer. The hotel itself is beautifully preserved and has an elegant touch to it. It was decked out in holiday garb and almost felt like going back in time. "It was great for a family vacation. We were there with our 3 and 6 year old and there were activities on site for both of them. Easily walkable to Kennebunkport but if you don't want to walk, there is a shuttle that will drive you there and pick you up. The breakfast is fantastic and is included."
